Run evacuation scenarios with new AHRQ tool

The U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has uploaded to its Web site a free disaster drill tool for hospitals. Designed to help estimate time and resources needed to evacuate patients and other people from facilities during a disaster, the Mass Evacuation Transportation Model (massevacmodel.ahrq.gov) was tested in New York City and Los Angeles using scenarios for a hurricane and earthquake, respectively.
