Internal document notes EC tracer is on survey agendas

The internal Surveyor Survey Activity Guide given to surveyors by The Joint Commission indicates that EC tracers are now a formal part of the EC and emergency management session during accreditation visits. Although such news isn’t going to shake survey preparation efforts, it again points to inconsistencies about what The Joint Commission (formerly JCAHO) tells accredited hospitals versus what it tells its surveyors.
